If you watch, the current on the ammeter was actually dropping quite rapidly even during the first few seconds of the demo. This is likely because the voltage is dropping rapidly during that time.

Li-Ion cells start out at about 4.2V, drop rapidly then level off between 3.8V down to 3.4V, and drop rapidly again beyond that. Average voltage is 3.6V.

Measuring the current draw at a nominal pack voltage of 18V (3.6V per cell) would give a more accurate current to judge the run time calculations with.

The message in the video is still accurate; bigger battery platforms are better suited to Outdoor Power Equipment.
