Would EGO SP be goo match?

Ego SP mower sounds amazing but not sure if it will work for my yard, which contains 5-6000 sq ft grass (fescue) with a slope in the back. Takes me a bit less than an hour to cut with Toro SP. The Toro is hard to maneuver and requires a lot of pushing even though it is SP.  Prior mower took 45 minutes even though we had more grass back then.  We have Worxx trimmer, blower etc so not interested in getting another tool for the battery.  Think the EGO would work out?

The Ego SP mower might be a good fit.  It is much lighter than traditional mowers, so in those places where SP is not convenient to use it should be easier to maneuver.  If you buy it from Home Depot you have 90 days to try it out and return it if you're not satisfied.

Tip:  The SP system has an anti-rollback safety system to keep the mower from rolling backwards on an incline if the operator lets go.  This requires disengaging the SP function slightly before you get to where you want to stop and reverse direction.  Some people find this frustrating at first but quickly adapt once they understand how it works.

Let us know how you like it if you decide to give it a try!

EDIT: I'm not sure what you mean in your last sentence about "getting another tool for the battery"?

Blue, I got the sense that he is saying that since he already has a trimmer and blower, he doesn't want to replace either of those with an EGO tool. Just my guess.

Thank you all.  Off to Home Depot to check it out in person.

I'll be curious what your impressions on the EGO once you see it. One word of caution...not everyone that works at Home Depot knows the product line well. I felt more informed watching YouTube than talking to the HD employees.

Home Depot  had all walk behind mowers displayed up on a high shelf and the store rep knew nothing about mowers. And this was on a slow Saturday due to weather. Look like local Ace has them - will try there next.

Home Depot visits frustrate me. Sometimes the experience is great and other times not worth the gas spent getting there and back. I wonder how much business they loose by not having their floor people know the products they're selling.

Bought the  LM2102SP at Home Depot last week. Took 50 minutes to cut 5-6,000 sq ft grass, with significant slope on half.   Battery seems more than adequate, even with using SP almost all the time. Love how clean and quiet it is!
