Just bought a new snow blower. It worked perfect twice on first charge. And I was so happy! Today we got 30 cm of snow and I was so excited to to use my machine. I fully charged 2 batteries but machine is completely dead. No lights, no power. Battery shows full charge.Tried to call Service - of course 7 days/week service is not count for today.

They're off for the holidays, but when they get back tomorrow give them another call and they'll get you fixed up or you can exchange it at HD.

My location is in Canada Manitoba, Canada's Home Depot doesn't deal with this product.

Roman, that sucks!

HD Canada does sell the snowblower with two 5Ah batteries. Is this the kit you got, or did you buy from the US?

Either way you're covered, give Customer Service a call once they're open and they'll get you fixed up.

I have bought it Homedepot.ca. Gotta wait till tomorrow or day after. I leaned the snow already by hand. Took me 2 hours to shovel. It is sacks to shovel when you got a brand new$1000 machine.

I have seen too many situations like this (blower does not run) and I am therefore very nervous about my snow blower.  The first one I rec'd did not run, so I returned it to HD and ordered another one.  That one worked out of the box, and I have used it twice (like Roman Olivson) and I like it very much.  However, I am concerned that it is going to stop working.  At the time I returned the first snow blower, I emphasized with EGO Service that they really need to figure out this problem (at the time one other person had the same issue).  Now I am seeing this issue happen more that it should.  EGO, please figure this out - your mower and leaf blower are great and I have confidence that they will continue to be great.  I do not have the same feeling about the snow blower.

There was an official response from Jennifer VandeWater in another thread. Ego identified the problem, which affected a few of the very early production run of the snow blower. It has since been corrected at the factory.

Thanks Ken.  I did not see the official response.  I am happy the problem has been addressed.

BTW gentlemen, my snow blow is 4 months old. July 2016. I think it is after the problem was addressed.
