I mean, not complaining, but was wondering if a newer model was coming out and you are trying to push this model out ?

Historically, Ego announces new models a few months before they're "in season" and they hit stores just as the demand ramps up. If they had a new model coming this year I'd expect they would have announced it a while ago.

I imagine this is just a seasonal promotion.

Not going to lie, I was thinking the same thing.  New model?  But it is a little late in the season to announce a new model.  $50.00 off is a sweet chunk of change.  I wish I could afford the non-self propelled with 7.5ah.  I would jump on this.  But I'm saving for the multi-tool.

I'm just glad I waited over the winter to get $50 off..sweet.
So I looked up the multi-tool, and like the new hedger, seems like it is a euro-only thingy.
Anyone know when the multi-tool will be released here, if at all ?
So is EGO a europe (swedish ?) company - as EU is getting all the goodies (first) ?

Ego is owned by Chervon, a huge tool manufacturing company in China. According to Jennifer's comments in the hedge trimmer thread, Europe gets less product than we do in North America, though their products are slightly different sometimes.

The multi-tool should be released soon.
