I have a 4000 sq ft lawn and live in the northeast. I bag occasionally but would like to mulch most of the time. Had a 19" neuton which was fine for bagging but left clumps of grass when mulching.
Reading reviews it seems like some people have better luck mulching with the older 20" model because of the higher RPMs. Others have good luck with the standard blade on the newer 21" model. Still others highly recommend the 20" steel deck with the high lift blade. Cost isn't as much issue as which one mulches grass the best. Opinions would be appreciated.
