When is a power washer going to be available?

Hello Ego Engineers and product development team,

I was wondering when you might be coming to market with a power washer? I would like to buy one, but i don't want to go to one of your competitors to have that be the only tool that uses a battery unique to only a power washer. I already have the snowblower, mower, string trimmer, and blow in EGO and want to keep my portfolio of tools as EGO.

Please let me know if you plan to launch such product and when so I don't have to buy a competitor and then buy yours when it comes out. I would rather wait for yours!

thanks,

Mike

Official Response
That's a frequent request, but I think at this point it's just not feasible with battery technology. The Worx Powershot is pretty weak, for example, and has limited use.

I have a corded pressure washer 1700 psi that does a great job for my intended purpose for cleaning a screen porch, sidewalk or driveway. I don't need or want the power of gas. I also have the Worx 40v Hydroshot for quick and portable cleaning; its psi is admirable for a cordless and has an assortment of attachments to make it very versatile for many household cleaning chores.

Competition is coming up stronger.

Worx:

WO7046: 320 PSI x 0.5 GPM, 20V

WG644: 450PSI x 0.9 GPM, 2x20V 2Ah, 15 minute runtime

Sun Joe: 1160 PSI x 0.79 GPM, 40V
SPX6001C-XR
800 PSI x 0.79 GPM with bucket, 40V, 5Ah, 19 to 31 minutes runtime (manual)

Ryobi: 1800 PSI x 1.4 GPM, 36V 4Ah, 15 minute runtime (reviewed)

Ego Power+: 56V, 2x7Ah
Could supply a lot of power (beyond belief!)

I know it’s a careful balance of GPM, PSI, and run time. Ego has vast experience on that balance with their product line.

Ego could very well compete in the market, exceed competitor offerings, and rival corded power washers.
