Weed eater will not start

This is my first post here and I’m looking for a little bit of help on a issue I’m having with my trimmer or weed eater as I call it. It was working and then all the sudden shut off. I went ahead and swapped batteries as I have multiple from my other evo products and my trimmer is less than a year old. I figured it might of been the switch lock-out mechanism not working so I took that area apart and it’s functioninf as it has 58V when actuated and goes to the other side of the switch when disengaged. Beyond that I’m not sure where to go as I don’t have the schematics.

If anyone has any ideas or as experienced this before, I’d appreciate the help as I couldn’t find a smoking gun. Thanks!!

If you’ve gone through all reasonable troubleshooting steps including those in the manual, it’s time to call Ego Customer Service. They’ll get you fixed up.

Remember that opening up the tool to take measurements will void your warranty, so I wouldn’t do that... ;-)
