After sharing the issue with the EGO community, posting a demo video of the issue and, troubleshooting the problem with the good people at EGO, I was instructed to deliver the unit to the Tool Rental Dept. at my local Home Depot. So, finding a window to do so during business hours, so I did. I was informed Home Depot would charge me an $18 'delivery fee', and proceed to diagnose the issue against the standing warranty of the Mower.

Sadly rolling in my sad Ego mower, I rolled up to the Tool Rental desk as instructed and, announced my purpose. The two fellows working the dept. heard me out and had no response, said they've no knowledge of any arrangement like this for EGO warranty eval & repair. I stated I was told and agreed that Home Depot had an $18 'Delivery Fee', again, news to all. I was informed that a repair ticket could be put together, but it wouldn't have anything to do with EGO Powertools, Warranty repair, or otherwise.

EGO ... WTH, gang? You all have been great, this seems uncharacteristically sloppy. Looking forward to a generous resolution ... yall have my product warranty info. My legs are tired on this, my lawn looks like hell ... and my Honda owning, lawn nazi hombres i've been bragging to about the virtues of the EGO-Sphere are really enjoying the show. Ironically, it's wearing on my 'ego'?

Cautiously committed,

We're sorry you have had such a difficult experience, Jared! This is not how the repair process is supposed to work, and we want to help. One of our service team members left you a voicemail on Friday. Were you able to speak with him?

You've all made some good points and a few combative points regarding service time. In light of everyone having voiced their concerns, we are now closing this thread. We are taking all of these complaints very seriously, but do not have any changes planned in terms of our service agreement for the remainder of this year.
