What is the warranty on EGO Power+ tools?

I am thinking about buying your backpack blowerwhere can I get details on the warrenty.What is the cost of an additional battery for the unit?

Kathleen, I bought my EGO backpack blower back in September of this year from Home Depot.  The "warranty" coverage on the product are listed on HD website, as well as EGO's (see links below):

That said; all EGO power tools have the same warranty coverage on tools and battery.
  • Battery = 3 years
  • Power Tools = 5 years limited warranty
For this kit, you can buy a "bare kit" without the battery if you already own one.  Or you can buy the "full kit" with two options (1. 5.0 Ah battery or 2. 7.5 Ah battery).  When I bought mine, the 7.5 Ah kit was not yet available, so I got the 5.0 Ah battery kit instead.  If you can afford to, buy the 7.5 Ah kit for longer battery run time.

Battery cost from Home Depot:
  • 5.0 Ah battery = $219.99
  • 7.5 Ah battery = $379.00
You can also buy the battery from Amazon.com or Zoro.com as well.
