I have the Ego 21" self propelled mower that has replaced my Honda self propelled mower.  I am enjoying the lower noise level and ease of use over the Honda although the dual blades of the Honda does leave a better cut.  I wish Honda would bring to the US a line of cordless outdoor power equipment.  Did some online research on Google and found this line of cordless equipment in the UK:  http://www.honda.co.uk/lawn-and-garden/products/cordless/specifications.html .  It looks very similar, especially batteries and charger to the Ego line and they are 56v.  Does anyone know if Ego is indeed in partnership with Honda for this line of tools?  If so, this would be huge compliment to Ego to be working with a company such as Honda.

"Honda will introduce the first products in its new cordless handheld range for Europe in March 2016. Powered by 56-volt DC battery technology, the range will be manufactured by leading international power tools specialist, Chervon."

Nice find, Ron!!! That is pretty impressive... just inject the products in red plastic and put a Honda label on them. If Honda is that comfortable with the performance of these tools that's really saying something.

Way to go Ego, I mean, Chervon! :-)

Jennifer, you might want to let someone know that Honda needs to update their specs... according to this sheet, their string trimmer has a cutting diameter of 22mm:

Looks like a "copy/paste" from the hedge trimmer specs.

Dang. That almost 1" cut path is great. And strokes per minute. Maybe its a sickle mower :)

Just cause Honda is having their stuff made by Chervon it doesn't mean the are identical. Honda could have them upgrade some parts or specs on some of the products. Or features?

Their press release does indicate that there are changes made to the tools, but I'd be willing to bet those changes are relatively minor. One thing I noticed was the blower RPM is listed at 21,000 and I think the original was only 20,000, and the cut size for the hedge trimmer is listed at 22mm, IIRC Ego's is 19mm, so the blade might be slightly different.
