Try out EGO tools before buying

I think it'd be really neat if EGO maintained a database of EGO tool owners who are willing to let people considering a purchase of an EGO tool, come and try out the tool. So, for example, if someone were considering purchasing the steel deck mower, that person would contact EGO and ask for the EGO steel deck mower owner living closest to them who is willing to let people come see and try out the mower. Then EGO would search their database and say something, like, "There's an owner of this mower living 15 miles away from you and they will contact you by phone to set up a time for you to go see and try out the mower."
That way a potential buyer of an EGO tool can try it out and get a better idea of whether or not it's a tool they want to buy.
And I'm thinking it'd help EGO and Home Depot by helping to reduce the number of returned tools. Of course, sometimes you can't figure out if you want to own the tool until you've used it for a longer period of time (which makes the Home Depot 90 return policy so helpful), but I think it'd still result in fewer returns.

I don't know of any company that does anything like that. There are all kinds of safety and security problems that could arise from that. Just look at the horror stories about people who go to buy or sell an item on Craigslist who end up getting robbed.
