These are some excellent deals!

If you don't have a 15" trimmer, these are hands down the best tool Ego has ever made and are being discontinued in favor of the RR version that, if anything like the RR power head attachment, are not nearly as good. Get one now while you can. Or maybe even two!

As for the 20" mowers, the cost of a rapid charger and 5.0ah battery alone totals $320. $30 more gets you a lawnmower today? Deal! ✅

I looked on line for toilets last year.  For about 2 months I had Home Depot, Lowes, and Amazon (yes you can buy toilets at Amazon) toilet ads popping up.  I got sick of seeing a throne every time I looked at the weather or radar.

hmmm...think I clicked on a milwaukee product during one of the many battery discussions.  Don't own any nor shopped for any.

I listened to a review of the movie the Circle on NPR, and they called the modern phenomenon of social media and tracking every keystroke for sale "surveillance capitalism."

David,

Thanks for the heads-up on the trimmer. Ordered one now.

Brad: Also ordered the blower.

Guess that HD is clearing out for new models.

Chainsaw on the way! Looks like it is the newer CS1403 with 2.5ah battery.  Should be easy enough to convert to 16".

Amazing, just amazing.  I bought the line trimmer in-store last week (although with the battery and charger...but I have one from the chain saw), and ordered the 20 inch mower kit, which I received at the store on Tuesday and used for the first time yesterday.  My timing is a thing of beauty.  I am going to rustle up my receipt and plead my case, but I am sure that I am wasting my time.  Pity my wife.  She will no doubt hear a diatribe!

You're inside the 90 day return window, they should credit you the difference.

Home Depot honored the sale price on the mower.  Hoorah!

Amazing Deals!!!!  Like you, this deal is about a year too late for me, as I have bought my EGO OPE a year ago - if only this deal was available then ... :-)

Well I generally make it a point not to look at prices and availability of new models when I buy something.  No doubt you will find a better deal, better product, better something.  But I pulled this same exact mower out of the box yesterday.  Let me weep a bit.

This is why I should not belong to online product forums!

It does stink to learn of deals so soon after purchasing. On the flip side, it's great when you are in the market and haven't yet purchased.

I guess we need to remember that we'll will win some and we'll will "lose" some.

If you bought both from Home Depot I would take your receipt to the store and plead your case. Or buy the deal online and return the unopened items you receive with your original higher priced receipts. Or return the opened items you bought first and buy the online deal.

Hopefully just telling the store manager of your intent to do either will be enough to get a refund without all the hassle though.
