Today is my turn for a 21SP mower failure

This mower is about a year old.  Today, the SP stopped functioning numerous times.  Suddenly became interimttent upon squeezing the switch to begin another pass.  As far as I can tell it doesn't stop running once it's going--it just doesn't always respond now to the initial command (squeezing of the ON/OFF lever) to begin propulsion.  I guess I'll have to waste a few hours of my life schlepping this thing to the nearest HD repair drop-off, buying another unit for the interim,  picking up the HOPEFULLY fixed unit, and then returning the "loaner mower" to HD.   What a hassle.  I've had hassle-free years upon years (about 40 years) of mower ownership.   I don't think electric mowers are up to speed in the reliability  department at this point.   Stupid me for buying into this stuff, but its was the exhaust fumes of my gas powered equipment that pushed me to do it.  Too bad I wasn't myself a bit more "durable".  Most people aren't as bothered by exhaust as am I.

Dave, we’re sorry to hear your mower is acting up. Please try calling our Customer Service team (1-855-346-5656). There’s a chance they might be able to address the issue over the phone, and save you a trip to Home Depot.
