Three questions about Power Head System & Edger Attachment

1. What is the total weight of the power head with Edger attachment and 5Ah battery installed? I am 73 years young & 5'7" tall with arthritic hands, knees and hips. I want to be able to edge my driveway and garden (which has that inexpensive black edging installed) - but the specs don't indicate the weight of this unit. I can't afford to purchase something I can't handle!

2. Will this edger "work" for my garden, which has no tight curves or corners, but does have grass/weeds on one "side" and the "black rolled edging" on the other (with no hard surface such as a sidewalk or driveway)?

3. I definitely want a "cordless electric" device, and I understand this "combo" is the most economical way to purchase the Echo edger. If this device isn't going to meet my needs as you can discern them from this email - what other Echo product can you suggest?

Hi LillyJo! Please find your answers below:

1. The Power Head, edger, and 5.0Ah battery weigh in at just over 16 pounds. If this is a bit much, please keep in mind that you can use the string trimmer strap to help distribute the weight more evenly. You could also opt for a smaller, lighter battery.

2. This is tough to conclusively say, sight unseen. However, what you've described shouldn't present any obstacle whatsoever.

3. Do you mean EGO, not Echo?
