The battery on my leaf blower will not stay charged when the charger is plugged in. It became necessary to remove the battery and reinstall it and then wait for it to charge.  Now it has died completely.  Maybe 15 uses of the blower in the year since I bought it before the battery died.  it is a 56V battery.  How long should it have lasted?

Actually the battery is charging and shows green. When we put it on the blower nothing happens. I think we got a lemon. We have tried calling customer service many times but never get through to anyone.

Call as close to when they open as possible for the best chance of reaching someone righht away. Have you left a message for a callback?

They'll help you troubleshoot whether the problem is the battery, the charger or the blower.
