Still Impressed With EGO Mower

Second season with my EGO 21” SP mower. Better than expected from day one and my previous mower was a Honda Harmony Mulcher.
However, this past weekend impressed me the most. I’m in the Chicago area and it’s been cool and wet so ideal for grass growth. I had to work on our gardens this past week so it was 9 days between mowings plus I had to cut it shortly after it rained. It had no issues mulching and never bogged down. In similar grass conditions with my Honda I would have been forced to bag or the mower would have bogged down frequently with all the grass hovering in the housing. Only issue with the EGO was short battery life since it went into airplane mode often.

Ha - even more impressed the grass is staying up. (what happened to these photos - they are upright on my phone)

Official Response
Airplane mode - I love it !
Alos in the Chicago area and had the same experience on Saturday.  Was wet in the morning when I cut a portions so waited until evening and it was still wet.  Never bogged down and powered thru the extra tall spots on airplane mode.

It is very pleasing to hear some positive comments. I wish, EGO would publish some statistics: How many Lawnmower they have sold and how many complaints and and things gone wrong with their lawnmowers they had in the past.
I worked for a US Car Manufacturing Company for 34 years and we were always very interested on how are we doing and how our customers feel about their cars. Simply a Customer /Manufacturer relationship.
Also, they need to step up their service department for customers they experience problems and issues. After all, the customers and potential costumers who look at statistics are scared to purchase this Electric Lawnmower.
Don’t forget EGO, we the customer pay your wages and your growth.

Have to remember that a higher percentage of people coming to this forum have a question or a problem.  Not representative of the Ego population in its entirety.
