Seems to be coming behind the blade, possibly white plastic piece. Does not happen all the time. Every now and then, anyone else have any ideas why?

Do you notice this while it's running, or just when you turn the blade by hand?

I notice a very slight "squeak" type noise when I turn the blade slowly by hand.  I believe this is just the sound of the brushes on the commutator in the motor, and if that's the case it's completely normal.

I actually have heard it while the mower is running. So, I'm not sure what's going on. It concerns me a little bit, it's not a very loud squeak. It just happens, and then it goes right away and doesn't happen again for a little while. Although I can, make the sound by turning in the blade myself to a little bit. I thought maybe it needed to be oiled, but from what I could tell out of the maintenance reading, it says nothing about oiling that part.

I haven't noticed any squeaking while mowing.  Let's see if anyone else chimes in.

I have the white plastic piece between the blade and housing and haven't noticed any squeaks.
