Snow Blower Stopped Working

Purchased in December from HD online since stores only sell the 5 mH version.  Worked well clearing after storm on Thursday, worked for an hour, clearing driveway, walkways, and neighbors for total time of about 1 hour.  Yesterday, was clearing more snow and after about 45 min it cut out and stopped working.  I recharged the batteries brought inside and iit is dead.

I own lots of battery equipment, with no issues.  This is an expensive machine, frustrating it cuts out after one use.  I spent an hour on hold with customer service yesterday and then left my number for call back and have not received one.  Very frustrating.  I work in customer service and this really sucks, why leave a number if they do not call back

Ugh another one... When you get a hold of them, they will replace it. I'm sure one of the reps will be contacting you on here tomorrow.

I filed a claim on my account, their solution is for me to contact them again with my machine available.  I spent 45 minutes on phone, then left message for them to return my call, but they have not.

I don't get it.  Must be time of day, or something.  I've had replacement issues with both my EGO mower and my EGO snowblower.  Either got through with a short wait, or got a timely (10 minutes) call back.  In both cases, I was treated professionally and received a replacement free of charge.  That's why I'm sticking with EGO.  Seems their vendor selection for parts might stink, or their initial design may have a hiccup or two, but their Customer Service is a bench-mark and is keeping me as a loyal customer.

I spoke with a representative yesterday, they are sending a new unit, not the batteries.  Hope it fixes the issue.
