Several questions now that I can fit this whole cat to one window and read it.Does 14" chain Saw blade and center fit on the 16" chain saw, or 16" chain and center fit on the 14" ?? Or are both chain saws the same motor and housing?? I just want to buy one chain saw and be able to use both the 14" and 16" chain setup on one chain saw, please insruct which one I need and if it will work and if so, which one I should buy??Also, are you all going to be making a storage hard case for the chain saw anytime soon? Really would like to secure it in a safe case from the elements and from touchy hands...Also, are you all going to making a pole chain saw?? Like a 10 foot, or up to 15 foot long pole with small chai. Saw on end? I bout another brands pole saw, but I truly love your tools, and the best cordless yard tools so far BY FAR the best, even in consumer reports rated them all #1... Thank you. Will wait for answers.

Antonio, the 14" and 16" bars cannot be swapped between saws. I would suggest if you need the 16" saw sometimes, that's the one you should get. As KR pointed out, it is more powerful than the older 14" saw.

As for the pole saw, Ego has made no announcements yet, but given that a pole saw is one of the top customer requests on this site, I would suspect it's on their to-do list.

Hi Blue and Antonio, in the past, we actually gave the wrong information. The bar and chains for the 14" and 16" are interchangeable.  (There was some internal mis-communication that caused me to post the wrong answer at one point).  At this time, we are working on accessories across the board and a chain saw case has been discussed but nothing is confirmed at this time.  The same goes for a pole saw.  It's something we have discussed but it's not confirmed.  As always, we will continue to update everyone here with new tool releases, sneak peeks and accessories as they are confirmed in development.
