On my mower, when you extend the handles and lock them into place with the green clips, it seems to work for a while.  The left side clamp works great and stays in all the time but the one on the right seems to pop out a LOT which shuts down the mower and I have to re-align, re-clamp, and re-start.  It seems to be worse when the ground is not perfectly even.  The last time out I actually tied it in place so it couldn't eject on its own.

I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this or if this clamp is just faulty?

Ben, this is a common problem with some mowers. Send an email to:

Tell them your situation, give them your phone number and they will get back to you. They are closed for the afternoon but will get back to you tomorrow. They have a revised clip design that fixes this issue.

Hi Ben! Thank you for your post, and we are happy to send you new and improved handle locking clamps. I have located your account and see that you registered your mower kit, but you did not provide an address. I just sent you an email asking for your address, so if you can get back to me with that, I will be able to place an order for the clamps today.
