Shipping Batteries is impossible to do

Its seems to be impossible to ship a 5.0 ah battery to Alaska, No Fed x, No USPS, No UPS, ground or 1 day air.  I think its because of the battery.  Can you make the components and send them separately so that its not considered a battery until its assembled at the location your sending it to?  a little ingenuity on your part and we can start getting some decent size batteries.

Larry, thanks for the suggestion. At this time, it's not in our plan to make components of the battery available separately but we are working hard with shipping companies to find a way to make our batteries easier to ship.  Believe us, we share in the headache of shipping these batteries as well.

FedEx ground will ship the batteries, do they not offer service to/from Alaska? I hear they have roads in Canada too...

Yup, we got us all kinda roads up here now. Geez, if ya got yerself a auto-mo-bile, well, you can go justa-boot where ever you wants to go, eh!

Heck, we even got roads ta Alaska!

I even drove from Skagway to the Yukon once. Absolutely B E A utiful country out there!

Nope even ground requires a plane ride from Seattle to anchorage. That's just way of all ground shipping to alaska
