Self Propelled Speed Control Not Working

I’ve got the self propelled mower, and noticed today that it is stuck in low speed. It engages just fine, but when I slide the speed adjuster, the speed doesn’t increase at all. I haven’t jarred it, it’s kept in the shed when not in use, etc. Any feedback would be great, thanks.

Ok, tried disconnecting the speed adjust like I read in another thread, still stays in slowest setting.

Mine was stuck in high speed, wide open. Couldn't say if one is better or worse than the other. I called EGO, they created a ticket and had me take it to local Hons Depot for servicing. I thought this will be easy. HD says they can't fix so, that it is part of computer circuit mother board. They sent to a state 300 miles away and said six to eight weeks. Mid May no less. After my jaw closed I accepted the situation. Still waiting. If I had a do over, I'd purchase another EGO to use until mine was returned and repaired correctly. How often should customer have to borrow neighbors lawn mowers during peak season?
Plus I really depend on adjustable self propel.
Good Luck. Let us know how your repair story unfolds.

I have a similar problem, but mine is stuck on the fastest setting. I am waiting for a call back from support. Pretty much brand new. I hope you get it resolve. Where did you see the disconnect suggestion?
