I'm not totally sure how to word the question.. I've had my SP mower for a month or so now and love it, but I can't shake this feeling that it doesn't cut as well when I'm using the SP.  I know that must sound weird.   I don't have a huge yard so I use it (SP) off and on in my front yard and I use it mostly in my back.  It really seems like when I'm using SP it isn't cutting as much as it does when I'm not using it.  It doesn't really seem to matter what speed I use either.   I find myself going back over sections without using SP and it seems to cut lower when I'm not using it.  Anyone else have this observation or am I looking too much into it?  I can't really think of why using SP would change cutting length.  Thanks in advance for any info or ideas.

If there is a difference, I haven't observed it after two mowings.

On my next mow I'm going to compare a strip with and without SP and see if I can tell.

Think i'm going to try something like that as well.. Going to mow half using self propelled and half not using it and see how it goes.
