The Self Propelled version of the 21" Ego Mower won't cut grass evenly. The Self Propelled unit raises the deck height when it is engaged, and then drops the deck back down when not engaged. If you allow the mower to propel itself in one direction and then drag it back in the other direction, you lawn will have stripes in it. Quite noticeable stripes.

EGO Power Support is aware of the malfunction but recommends that you change the way you mow your lawn, or take twice as long, or be happy with the results as they are. As far as I can tell they have no plan to fix this "Feature".

This is true that it does happen. But it's not much is it?
How much do you think it raises the deck in the rear?

I have not noticed this on the 20 inch self propelled. I'm pleased with that.
