In 2018 my wife and I decided we had enough with shoveling (we are both in our 70’s) and decided that we needed to buy a first snowblower. As we are environmentally aware, and also didn’t want to goof with storing gas, we thought about electric. We bought a snowblower (don’t recall the brand) and it was awful. It couldn’t toss the snow more than 3 feet. Hell, even at our ages, we could do better.
We took the unit back to Home Depot and a salesperson agreed that we picked the wrong one. He said: “This EGO will cost you a bit more, but I predict you will not be bringing it back.” He was right.
The EGO tackled our driveway with ease, throwing the snow about 30 feet. I kept wishing for more snow so I could get back on the drive with the EGO. When the time came to get a power lawn mower, the decision was easy - another EGO. and, again, we could not be happier.
