What gives? Why does Ego make this? Rear motor 1200 watts $425....Power head trimmer combo 2000 watts $350. I will upgrade for a small improvement.....and I trim a lot.....so?

School me.

Sorry...Kinda maybe confusing....I own 3 of the power head combos plus all accessories....was wondering about the rear motor trimmer....plus the seemingly much higher price for a lesser product.

It appears that this rear motor version is approximating the cable driven trimmers of gas engine versions...

Good catch Jeremy. Looks like another one of those curiously messed up Home Depot pricing strategies. The Powerhead combo sure looks like the better deal to me.

Yea there are some strange prices out there.  I finally grabbed a powerhead edger combo for $129.  Just couldn't look at it any more without grabbing one.
Now I just need the hedge trimmer attachment back in stock.
