I just ordered the Multi tool pole saw and have been reading the manual in anticipation of it's arrival.  Have a question for those with experience with this saw.  When storing the saw the manual says it is normal to seep oil.  how necessary is it to empty the bar and chain oil?  How much Seepage are we talking about over what period of time?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Official Response
I've had mine stored upright against the wall all winter, fairly full of oil.  There is some seepage as oil has made its way down the shaft a ways, but it has yet to drip on the floor.  So seepage yes, but not much in my case.  This could also be a case of oil seeping out of the chain, I'm not sure.  The oil on the shaft looks pretty clean so it may have come from the reservoir.

I would imagine storing it flat would cure the issue, though it's easy enough to handle so I'll probably just empty the reservoir back into the oil jug the next time I use it and put it away.
