Home Depot your exclusive dealer does not carry your replacement line for the string trimmer.  I must order it on-line through Home Depot who does not allow it to be shipped to the store so it must be sent to my home at an additional $5.99 shipping charge.  I feel ripped off.

Ed, please note that you are free to use whatever trimmer line you wish with the Ego trimmers. Any .080" line for the 12" and any .095" line for the 15" models, your choice!

In fact, I prefer a couple of different brands of string to the Ego OEM line, which I found to be brittle. I like Echo line and this year have been very happy with Husqvarna's Titanium whatever-they-call it. $13 for 280 feet at Lowe's.

+1 on the Husqvarna Ti. I put some on my 15" trimmer and it's so durable I had to mark the string with a marker to make sure it wasn't self feeding.

Ed, don't feel "ripped off"!   Buy the yellow twisted .095 line available in HD stores.  I forgot the brand, but it works great.
