With regard to the battery the 56 volt charger manual says "5.  When the battery pack is fully charged, the green LED will stop flashing and will shine green continuously.  The power indicator on the battery pack will go out.  Wait until the cooling fan stops, remove the battery pack from the charger and disconnect the charger from the power supply".  I've seen several similar questions about leaving the battery on the charger all the time and the typical answer is that it's OK to do that.  The manual seems to imply that the battery be removed once it's fully charged.

If I leave the battery on the charger (plugged in) all the time when it's not in use am I violating the warranty on the battery and/or the charger?

Hi Michael! You would not be voiding the warranty by any means. We do currently, however, recommend removing the battery from the charger and tool when not in use.
