Just purchased the 2101 electric mower. I have a hard time moving the height adjustment lever. Two of us (male and female) had the same problems. Is there some tip to do this? It eventually moved, but not sure what I did to make it work when it did. Most of the time it seems to be stuck in one position and won't budge.

I just have to say this though it would be obvious, maybe, to most....

I'm not at home to look at my 21" Self-Propelled Lawn Mower but I think you have to hold it towards or away from the mower while you move it forward or back to adjust the height of the mower.

Otherwise, you may have something jamming the mechanism underneath the mower. Maybe you could look under there?

Or the problem might be concealed.

Nevertheless, if you just purchased the mower new, I would exchange it for a new one.

Home Depot has a very good return/exchange policy, at least if your in the states. 3 months!

From the Web...
"In-Store Purchase Return Policy. Returns within 90 days of purchase and with a valid sales receipt will be exchanged, refunded in cash, credited to your account or refunded via The Home Depot store credit."

Or another good idea would be to call the Ego customer service department, Email or fill out a Web form for help... whatever Ego supports... Start with their Web site.

You may need to register your products first. It should be done anyway.
