John, I don't believe Ego has demonstrated any intention of selling the push mower with the larger battery.

Ego staff are away for the TG long weekend, so Monday is the earliest you can expect an official response.

The 20" kit was made available with a 7.5Ah battery right around the time that the original 4.0Ah kit stopped being exclusive to Home Depot, which I believe was about a year and a half after it launched. But that may have had more to do with the fact that a 7.5Ah battery didn't exist until just before the XL kit came out.

My guess is early- to mid-2017 for a 7.5Ah 21" push mower kit, but I wouldn't exactly call it an educated guess...

Hi John, we don't currently have plans for a 7.5Ah battery with the 21" push mower but we'll keep you posted if this is a kit configuration we offer in the future.

Hello Jennifer, please make plans for a 7.5Ah battery with the 21" push mower. A goodly percentage of your potential customer base value the simplicity, lighter weight, and extended battery life that a product configured in this way would offer, and would become actual, paying customers.
