With the 2AH battery and heavy weeds and hot temperatures...you could come in with short operating times...your 10 to 15 minutes is the lowest number I've seen stated here or on the HD Q&As

I use the 5AH battery for trimming along the paddock fence lines

I have a 7ah battery from my lawn mower and I have gone longer than a hour with still battery to spare the only thing is that it makes the unit pretty heavy. I'm still wondering if I have a bad battery that came with the trimmer

Which battery did you get with your trimmer?
The 2AH or the 5AH?

Official Response
The Powerload trimmer comes with a 2.5Ah battery, and it should last longer than 10-15 minutes. Most report 25-35 minutes of fairly steady trimming on a charge.
