Down the road, would you guys ever consider offering a longer bar and chain for this unit? I noticed that you have much bigger batteries coming out soon. I have several pine trees that I need to bring down that exceed the recommended 12 inches. Would love to know that in the future I could use this unit to do so. Thanks!!

Zach, this only my opinion, but the bar length is most likely matched to the power of the motor and electronics, not so much the battery size. A larger battery would give you more cuts per charge, but would not increase the cutting power of the tool.

If you were to install a longer bar and cut thicker material, you would run the chance of overloading the tool much easier.

The same would be true of other tools as well, so installing a 24" blade on the mower (if it would fit) would overload it much easier and require pushing it slower compared to using it with the 20" blade.
