POLL: shipping notification issue

Background: Ego Team, there have been a few reports of customers not being provided a shipping notice or tracking number.  I have experienced this problem too when I warranty replaced a 5.0AH battery.  I was told that a shipping number would be provided, however, after a couple days I had not been provided the number, but the battery did show up.  It appears that the system or method used by Ego Customer Service to track and communicate shipping of warranty replacement products could use an upgrade (like the phone system)?

Problem Statement: Product shipping notification is not clearly communicated.

Possible Root Cause: Process and/or training insufficient to meet customer expectation.

Recommendation: Evaluate process and training for tracking and communicating shipping information to customers.

POLL: For Ego customers, please post details of your shipping notification experience, both positive and negative.  This information could be used by Ego to further quantify and investigate the issue.
