Having a smallish yard that uses about half of one charge of the 5 Ah battery, I chose the non-self-propelled, LM2101 21inch mower for two reasons:
1. Needing exercise
2. Simplicity - not wanting extra mechanisms to be vulnerable to breakdown.

Have had NO problems in 2 years, and have been very happy with the cut, reliability and quality of this machine.

The EGO mower isn't very heavy and hard to push. The wheels are large enough to move easily over the ground and I lift and pivot to make sharp turns.

Plus I'm a 70+ years old, 5'2" female.   The push mower is not a problem for me.  So I'm completely happy with it.

Sibyl, I'm with you on this one. I can mow my front and back yards with a single charge of my 5 ah battery on my 21" push model. Granted I'm pushing the red light for 5-10 minutes towards the end of mowing both yards, but it gets the job done and the little bit of going into the red hasn't hurt anything.
