I would like to install a PivoTrim head on my eGo trimmer. eGo is not listed a compatible manufacterer on the PivoTrim package. Does this combo work?

Hi Jon,

3rd party heads will not work with this trimmer.  Most people just switch to different line for their needs.

Ego claims their trimmers are not intended to work with any aftermarket accessories. You could try to fit it, but may risk voiding your warranty if modifications to the tool are required.

Also be aware that adding a high-drag attachment like that may put the trimmer into a limp mode. The tool senses drag on startup and if a predetermined limit is reached or exceeded the tool will not function correctly.

Jon, as both Blue and SCDC mentioned, our string trimmer are not designed for aftermarket accessories.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Or it would be nice to have trimmer line that does not break as easy.

It's trimmer line. There are hundreds of varieties of trimmer line available. As long as you use the correct diameter you can use any trimmer line you want.

Personally, I like Husqvarna's Titanium Force line.
