What trimmer line does EGO use from the factory? I used Echo line and it constantly breaks. The oem line lasted through about 5 or 6 yard cutting sessions.

Good line, I just don't care for Amazon.  They've gotten SO bad with pricing and such.  All the 3rd party sellers.  We use to shop a lot on Amazon, not so much anymore.

Thanks for the link.  Another resource  :)

Agree - definitely can't assume you are getting a great deal there, which kind of used to be the case.  But they are still there, like anywhere, just need to do your research before clicking on a purchase.

Bill - can also find Ego line on HD.com if you want the Ego brand stuff.

Thanks to everyone. I went to the EGO website and didn't see anything other than hardware. Guess I gave up too easily. Thank you szwoopp for putting me onto EGO accessories. That line just worked really well for me. Thank you again for all of the speedy replies.

I'm picky about third-party sellers on Amazon, although I will seek them out of it says "fulfilled by Amazon." I get the reliable Prime shipping but don't pay sales tax.

A lot of times I go with Amazon out of shear convenience of knowing whether something is in stock and it'll get here when I need it.

If the item is "fulfilled by Amazon", I'm pretty sure that means Amazon already has the 3rd party seller's item staged in an Amazon warehouse for shipment.

I agree the Echo line is not good with the string trimmer. I bought the Black Diamond and it breaks constantly. EGO, can you speak to corporate about stocking your replacement line on the shelves? I will give the Husquavarna line a try. And I will rib my managers and regional people about having to buy Lowe's to get satisfaction. ;-0
