This will be the 3rd season using the 7.5 Ah 21” self propelled mower. As a bagging mower it’s fine. For mulching or side discharge, it leaves a lot to be desired. In mulching mode, you can only be cutting a minimal amount or you start leaving clumps on the lawn. The side discharge is next to useless. The chute is poorly designed, and the mower doesn’t generate enough lift to blow the clippings out where they would disperse. I have tried the high lift blade with only a slight improvement at the cost of reduced battery life. So I end up bagging my clippings all the time. Since there is no “throttle” adjustment, isn’t it supposed to increase power when there is increased resistance?
