Nice Compliment from a Customer Today

Picked up a new customer that I started today. Heavily landscaped 2.5 acre home with a million(s) dollar view overlooking the Pacific Ocean. When I bid the job and got it I casually mentioned that I use electric handhelds....The gentleman just eyed me skeptically and said he didn't care in a longer nicer way.

There was a particularly steep bank below the house that hadn't been touched in a few months. Perfect spot to show off the power head trimmer and backpack link.

Smashed it.

The homeowner came out after I finished the bank and was a convert. He said that he couldn't believe how easily both I and the trimmer had done the bank. I gave him a quick show and tell of the equipment I was using.......kinda funny that a man who had commanded a nuclear submarine, among other things, was standing there thoroughly impressed with the Ego combo.

I switched to the 15" timmer/link combo for the rest of the property and breezed through the morning.

Sweet story!  You'd think his nuclear sub experience would have him on the less skeptical side of electricity.  :-)

Exactly. He commented he had no less than four gas trimmers and none compared. The big two in lawn care had better wake up or they are bye bye!

Awesome story Jeremy. Maybe some day people will finally understand that electric is far superior to any gasoline guzzling junk. Some day, some day.

Outstanding Jeremy!
Congrats on the new account, it sounds like a good one.
And good job on the customer relations, that also promotes customer loyalty.
I also had a customer that was a submariner, and we thank them for their service.

It looks like our rainy-season is almost upon us here in SW Florida.
