Using all of EGO products and all I and people can say is WOW!! Three other on the block have seen them in action and tried

The Lawn mower with the headlights and whisper quiet  that I have cut my grass in the dark. Without disturbing anyone!

The 12" string trimmer, minor issues with the string spool but still great unit and 15" string trimmer a great wide cutting area, cuts fast, as well quiet with the brushless motor!

The Blower! Not sure what to say....it blows (in a good way)!! 480cfm, blows those grass trimming and rocks to the neighbors :)

The Hedge Trimmer, hedgers are cut in no time! 24" is plenty!! When all done use the blower to blow the material all away!

The Chainsaw. No fumes!! No noise and no messing around with removing the chain with no difficulty. In no time flat unwanted trees are gone!!

So the summer months are over and units are all clean and ready for next season. I remember reading that something was supposed to come out in fall this year??

Hear in Canada snow comes fast and stays long. I have been waiting to see if there is a cordless battery powered snow unit coming out and would love to be the first to test!!

Snow blower, snow pusher, tiller, cultivator, vacuum, blower attachments... and more??

Again a great company, name, product, customer service...etc!!! So much more!!

I cant wait to purchase the next product!!! Hope to hear something soon!!!

Agreed 100%! The only tool I haven't used is the chain saw, and I really wish I had an excuse to buy it.

Thanks for the reviews, and as a fellow Canuckian I share your enthusiasm for what comes next!!!

Are you Dan from TIA?
I've been thinking about the blower a lot over recent days. I think that the noise level of it can be reduced and its efficiency upgraded. I say double the breadth of the fan blades, double the number of fan blades, cut fan blade thickness in half and use different material for fan (maybe aluminum or something), balance the fan better somehow.  The broader blades and increased number of blades should reduce the rate at which the motor will need to spin to get the same amount of CFM, and the increased number of blades and decreased RPM might make the fan whistle more quietly, and a better balance on the motor would decrease volume of sound due to the motor. The blower already is pretty quiet, but it isn't a whisper yet. The sound of the motor and fan still seem to overwhelm the white sound of the air. I'd like to know if my ideas here would actually work.

Alright I have the the mower and the string trimmer and will be purchasing the the blower next. What I want to suggest is that Ego plays catch up (and FAST) with its direct competitor (You know who they are). They now offer an 80v power system and many more tools. What's in the works Ego?

How about a portable work light! For doing miscellaneous work in the yard?

Kid,
I think the battery would be bigger than the light  :O.  Maybe a large camping lantern?

Batteries and their casings are always bigger than the head (reflector and light source. Very bright. Maybe a lantern but I'm thinking a worklight like would be used after hours in the yard or a worksite. It would likely be one of their least expensive items since no brushless motor. And who wouldn't like a cool flashlight.... Great Christmas presents!

Cool idea Kid!  We'll be sure to keep everyone posted if we plan on a light.  You are definitely not the first to request one.

I bet a lot of people would buy one even if they didn't need one. I would! - - - It would be so easy for Ego to make one. Just a flashlight head to snap onto the body (at least, or add some folding legs or something only a GREAT engineer could think of) ... Offered as an add on, a perk to buy something, added incentive, presents, another 'one up' over the competition, it would reach the brand over to the repair man/contractor from the yard maintenance person! Doesn't Ryobi do that with their 20v ONE line? Plus, NO ONE does it as a higher power worklight... So Ego would be the first and who doesn't love a first!! - - - I know people aren't going to snap huge batteries onto little drills so much but a lot of people will appreciate the added functionality /ability of the expanded system that most or all others could not (or do not) provide. - - - K
