New mower seems to be missing hardware, is there a place to order the parts?

This conversation has been merged. Please reference the main conversation: One of the metal plates connecting the battery to the lawnmower is missing. What are my options?

Wife and I just purchased the Mower + Charger + Battery kit at local Home Depot -- the mower came with the blade un-attached, and does not seem to have any hardware to attach the blade with.  I have all the parts I think I am supposed to have, except the spacer(s), and/or nut(s), and/or other hardware that make the blade attach to the mower.  Is there a place where I can buy or order this?  Home Depot referred me to here for assistance saying that they do not have parts for the mower available other than just the blade by itself Thank you for any help and time! 

We need some other tools (weedeater, trimmer) but wanted to try just the mower first, but sadly we cannot even use it!

Wondering why you couldn't have taken it back to the store to exchange for another one.  I see Jennifer VandeWater is going to take care of it though.  That is good.  I love my EGO and hope you do to.   I got mine last fall.

I don't know why your mower is missing parts, but I do know for a fact that "customers" routinely break open cartons and pilfer parts. I advise everyone to never purchase anything in a carton that appears to have been broken open or resealed.
