I just unboxed a new mower last night and the manufacture date on it says 3/2014. Is that common? I was under the impression that these mowers were popular and in demand, but apparently they are just sitting in stores for a very long time without moving. Now I wonder if my battery life is going to be less than normal because it's already over a year old and I haven't even used it yet.

I appreciate standing behind your products but that doesn't do me a whole lot of good when I have to ship it back and wait for it to be repaired.  I really don't know if there are any repair centers near me and even if there were, why would I want to wait for them to repair my mower for something that could clearly be seen in the design phase.

Hey, should the motor's inter-workings be showing in an area that will come in contact with water?  Sure, why not.  Ummmm, yeah.
