When will EGO come out with a mower blade that does not require frequent sharpening.  The quality and design of the current blade is subpar.  Think of buying a car for 75K and then putting on $49 tires.  Would it make any sense?

Many of the EGO product components are made from inferior materials.  The mower decks, the mower blades, and the hedge trimmer blades, to name a few.

I sharpen mine a couple of times a season. Given how easy it is to do on this mower, and the complete lack of other maintenance, I'm not complaining.

I definitely think they could do better on mower blade material selection. I can't speak to the hedge trimmer. The mower blades feel like plain old mild steel which can't take any kind of heat treatment and is therefore quite soft relatively speaking. On the flip side that does speed up sharpening and lower cost.
