I just bought my EGO backpack blower. I noticed the Battery was dated March 2017. This means the battery is over a year old. I am only getting about 20 minutes out of a new charge. Could this be because of the battery's age? What are my options at this point?
Hi James, I agree with Blue Angel, I use the backpack blower commercially daily, and 20-25 minutes on high sounds about right with the 5.0AH battery, especially if you're using turbo occasionally. The only remedy currently is to have additional batteries and rotate them. I love the backpack though, and my BR 600s are collecting dust :-)
PS: The battery date is fine, I purchased mine about a month and a half ago, and they are all dated from 2017.
