Both my 4 Ah and 2 Ah batteries went defective this year. Called and (after 20" on hold waiting to get through) spoke with Joe who advised going back to HD and asking them for an exchange. They or course had no idea what to do...so we called back from the store (another 20" wait to get through). Joe wasn't in...still waiting to hear back. Meantime, I ordered a 7.5Ah from Grainger. On both rapid and standard charger it flashes as above. Is this normal? On rapid...doesn't go past 50% even after 40". Both chargers flash green.

Mathew, the battery status indicator does cycle through all three colors while charging. Once complete it lights up green and stays that way until the fans in the charger shut down.

The 7.5Ah battery is supposed to take 60 min to charge on the rapid charger. Have you tried leaving it for longer than 40 min?
