My mower has been in repair again for 6 weeks this time. The repair shop last week said EGO parts were discountined

What. EGO hasn't been in business long enough to discontinue parts!!!  No replacement parts??  What model mower and how old??

Have a friend who’s mower has been in a repair shop for 3 months. No sign of a repair date still. It needs rear gears and a switch for the extension that gives power when the handles are fully extended.

Have either of you contacted Ego customer service in order to get the delay looked into.

How about the HD store manager where you brought it.

I don't know what repair shop has your mower, but I know the parts have not been discontinued.

Even the first-generation mower is still being sold and the oldest mowers are still under warranty.

You need to call Ego customer service and get them involved.
