My Ego Snow Blower doesn't seem to get all the way to the asphalt...close but not completely...

I don't think the blade is adjustable, how to get it lower?  I know I can tilt the machine but it's hard on my back after awhile.  I will say that for hard packed snow, you can tilt it and shove it and it will get the hard stuff off, but again, that kills my back after awhile. So far though, satisfied with the ego - as good as if not better than my gas toro

Hi David. As long as you’re not pressing down on the handle and lifting the scraper off the asphalt, it should scrape to the ground.

The Ego snowblower is quite light, so maybe it’s just not biting into the hard packed snow? In that case you may need to scrape the driveway with a metal edged shovel. I have a metal edge on my main shovel and it works great on asphalt where cars have driven on snow and packed it down.
