My eGo LM2000-S electric mower won't start.

My eGo LM2000-S electric mower won't start. It was working fine earlier in the day and then failed to start. In troubleshooting this, I've recharged the battery and let it cool down, I've ensured the side rails are fully extended, the clamps are locked in position, and the handle is in position. The mower's indicator light is dark though the battery's indicator light is green.

Remove the battery and reinsert ensuring it clicks or clean the terminals on the battery and mower to get good contact. If nothing works, call EGO Customer Service at 1-855-EGO-5656 (1-855-346-5656).

I cleaned the battery terminals, and it seemingly is getting a good connection. I hear the click in place like it routinely does.

Further steps, perhaps.

You are pressing and holding the green button while pulling on the bail? You have to be pressing that button while pulling on the bail.

Did you try walking backward with the mower while trying to start it? Sometimes those clamps fail in such a way that they don't make proper contact when pushing the mower but will try to make contact when pulling it. 

Give EGO CS a call and they will help you. Depending on the age of your mower, you may still be under warranty.

Yes, I'm pressing the green key while pulling the bail. I had not tried to pull backward before, but I just did and that didn't work.

I should still be under warranty, as I purchased this 3 years ago (as long as it isn't the battery). I have a callback into Customer Service, but they seem to be extremely busy: I got yesterday's requested callback today.
