My new lawnmower does not start.  Fully charged battery according to charger.  No grass on deck and handles fully engaged.  There is no light on screen as to how much juice in left for battery.  Headlights do work.

Make sure both side clips on the sides of the handle are closed..

Did you just change the blade?

When I cleaned the deck and changed the blade the last time, the white round fan blade came loose and fell off, and I put it back in upside down and the machine would not start.

When I reversed the fan (blades go up toward engine) the machine started up right away.

There is no 'this side up' direction engraved on that part like there is on the mower blades.

Always a good idea to take a picture before disassembly.

Fortunately EGO already thought to do that. From the non-sp/sp mower manual.

BTW, access to online EGO Owners Manuals are available through the EGO app.

Guys, I don't own a smart phone or have any apps - my cell phone is a 2002 Nokia candy bar phone.   Doesn't take pictures.  It stays in my car just for travel and emergencies.

I was talking the round white fan blade having directions written on it (This side up) like the cutting blade does.

Sibyl, do you have the manual that came with your mower? The info is in there.

Mike, I don't take my manual out into the garage.  It might get dirty.   :8->

Maybe you should. A dirty manual is a well loved manual. LOL

I actually keep my tool manuals in the garage in a clear storage box labeled "manuals"; easier that tromping into the house looking in a file cabinet.

Thanks, Mike and William!   Really like the idea of the clear box for manuals in my garage - will do just that!

You all have helped me so much with advice through the years.

Now, let's get back to Mary Dean's problem.    :8-)

I keep my manuals in a bin in the garage too.
Ok, back to our regularly scheduled programming. LOL
