my blower battery does not charge

My  56 Volt, 530 CFM  Model LB5300 Blower Battery will not take a charge anymore. After I was using it I noticed it was going dead but the power button would not light up when pressed. When I put it in the charger, the charger light goes on and off in 1 second increments and the charger clicks at the pace of the light. The power button does not light up in charger or when pressed. I tried my battery from my EGO mower and it charges in the blower charger so I think my battery is junk? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Official Response
If the battery is within the three-year warranty give customer service a call and they'll send you out a replacement.

Thank you, I plan to call them tomorrow.
I just bought mine less than six months ago.  My yard is the size of a postage stamp and I may have used my weed whacker 6 to 7 times tops.  The battery will no longer charge!!  And there is a light on the battery that say "defective battery"!?!  I do not believe I sent in a warranty card.  I hope I did not have to do this.  I paid about $250 for this thing ... Geez!!!
